Just awakened from a wonderful dream, like an intricate adventure story where Indiana Jones might appear at any moment. I was somewhere in Central America, and I had just accidentally found an ancient relic, a golden crown with a beautiful band of rubies near the base. Before that scene, as I write I just remembered a preceding scene, and it seems obvious that this was Chapter One of a larger story, as I awakened naturally at a good cliffhanger moment, expecting to discover soon that the crown has some kind of magical powers. But at the moment I awakened, a few minutes before my alarm usually goes off, I had just slipped the crown into a hiding place -- a niche -- in a cave while the bad guys who were chasing me in search of the crown approached. I knew they wouldn't find it, and soon leave me alone, and I would come back later to retrieve the crown, probably in Chapter Two. This is the happiest dream I've experienced in a long time. It was long, intricate, playful, exciting, with a touch of danger that seemed to be growing more sinister as the dream progressed. I only remember a glimpse of the preceding scenes, where my father was playing a role. I think he had helped me escape from some other situation, but the dynamic between us was intense. It seemed like he and I were going to confront each other soon, but he had departed before that happened. There were lots of children around as we parted, like a child's playground, and the bad guys had just started searching for me. They were also revealing how bad they were, as they were not careful around children, and scared them, drawing empathy from anyone watching the scene, and an awareness that these were truly sinister souls who had no empathy. But so far, I was successfully escaping them, and had just found a most beautiful crown. I think the crown might have had the rubies running around the inside of the crown, rather than on the outside. Brilliant red. There is a connection between this dream and the "Awaken the Deep" dream(s) which first began almost exactly two years ago, in mid-December 2023. That is all I know at the moment, and I wanted to capture the experience briefly here as I awaken early and start writing for the day.
